On 4 September Sony will announce their next top Android smartphone with code name Honami and final selling name i1. It will feature 5 inch Full HD screen and the fastest mobile chipset – Snapdragon 800 from Qualcomm but we are more interested in something else. Honami has 20.7MP 1/2.3″ sensor, G Lens and can record Ultra HD video. Yes, 4K. The information is not official yet, but we can see some images from asian site Digi-Wo.
On 4th Sony will introduce something else too – two external ‘lens cameras’ with built-in imaging sensor, Bionz processor, Wi-Fi/NFC, SD card slot and battery. The lenses attach magnetically onto a smartphone or tablet and communicate via NFC or Wi-Fi. The Japanese are totally crazy.
